Resolved Question: ND girl considering moving to FL to Nanny... need advice?

I have been talking/interviewing with a family from St. Augustine FL about moving down there in September to become a live-in nanny for them. I have a daughter who just turned one. They are aware of that and we are working out a plan to make all people involved happy. I think this would be a great experience for me to get out of ND and also for my daughter to meet knew children and also discover something besides ND. I am prepared to make the move with my daughter and move in with this loving family and take care of there lovely children. The problem is my parents. My mom and I are really close and she is telling me that I shouldn't move. She said that she wants to be a part of mine and my daughters life and help me out. I understand she will miss us, just like we will miss her but It is mine and my daughters life. We would still see each other occasionally and It would be a one year commitment. Then I would be home.
